Be a World Changer (for Jesus!)

Permission to Preach

Your destiny is not about you.

What? My destiny is not about me? That’s right. It is NOT about you!

Any destiny that is centered around you will be shallow and unfulfilling.

When Jesus summarized the whole Bible He said it was to Love God and Others. You can’t find a “me” anywhere in that!

You have been uniquely created by God to do good things for others.

You will never be who God created you to be until you recognize His call on your life to serve.

Every human being was created to serve others in some capacity. This is the true sense of destiny.

When we talk about destiny it must always be in the context of making a difference.

Here is a good question to ask today, “Does my intended destiny make a difference in the life of someone else?” If the answer is vague or no then you need to think more deeply and ask the Lord to show you His greater design for your life.

Making a difference is the heartbeat of your destiny.

Many times when you think of making a difference some grand challenge of ending world hunger, stopping the sex trade, or building an orphanage comes to mind. While all that would be great, you immediately disqualify yourself for a million reasons.

The simplicity of making a difference always begins with impacting one person.

It could be your friend’s little sister who looks up to you and desperately needs a big sister role model or your coworker who has a tough home life and is struggling for encouragement and guidance.

Making a difference starts in such a simple place that you will many times miss your opportunity because the package is so small!

One of the things I’ve had to ask the Lord to help me overcome is the feeling of not being able to do something big enough to make a difference. Have you ever felt this way? Have you ever thought that without lots of money, extensive education, or high-level connections you could not truly make a difference? I think we all have.

Make up in your mind today that you will begin to make a difference by impacting one person at a time.

Look for opportunities to add value in the lives of those who are around you. You don’t need to go halfway across the world to feed a starving child.

You can give time, energy, wisdom, or money to someone in your daily life.

Only making a difference will bring true happiness.

The destiny that Jesus has for you is not getting to the top of a corporate ladder or having a glamorous career.

It is not to be a sought-after speaker or person who writes bestseller books. Yes, you may attain one of these things in your pursuit of making an impact on others but simply reaching a self-centered goal has never made a difference in anyone’s life. I’m reminded of Britney Spears, who is from the same little Louisiana town as my Maw Maw Avis. She was the most recognized person in the world for several years but sadly ended up in public humiliation. Her destiny was not to be famous. It is no one’s God-given destiny to be famous. It was her destiny to make a difference. It is your destiny to make a difference.

Making a difference will resolve your pursuit of destiny in a way that is far more fulfilling than you could ever imagine!

I didn't come from a ministry background, but when I married my husband in 2010 with an Interior Design degree from LSU and no seminary training, he welcomed me into the ministry. In 2012, a prophetic couple told me that I had the anointing of Lydia, and God wanted to use it to funnel millions through the Kingdom by starting online courses and classes. At this time, I had NO dream or even thought of Let’s Echo, but I received the word from the Lord.

Today, I'm witnessing that prophetic word coming true. You are a prophetic word fulfilled and a dream come true!

The Preacher Girl Club empowers women to use their voice for Jesus through our online coaching community, practical courses, and leadership resources. Our members collaborate, speak at each other's events, write content together, and start ministries side by side.

If I can preach, so can you!
