Destiny requires Cooperation

Have you ever heard that if it is your destiny then it will surely happen? That if it is “meant to be” then it will simply come to pass if you are patient? I got news for ya today, this is all a big fat lie!

You will have to cooperate with your God-given destiny in order to ever see it come to pass.

Your destiny is like a great field that is “destined” to be a great orchard.

Destiny is many times better articulated by the word potential.

The field has the potential to be many great things. It could be a vegetable garden, a wheat field, or a delicious peach orchard. Your life is a field that has incredible potential. If you want to see the destiny of being a communicator come to reality then you are going to have to do what someone would do to turn a field into a peach orchard… a lot of work!

You have to put in the work!

It would be so much easier if all we had to do was identify our destiny (potential) and rely on God to bring it to pass and others to recognize our destiny and give us place to do what we are destined to do. Maybe you are frustrated because this is exactly where you have been for a long time. God doesn’t seem to be opening doors. People are not recognizing, much less celebrating, the destiny on your life. Don’t worry! We all have been there. I know I have!

Use your Voice to Fulfill your Destiny

One of the things I am constantly reminding girls of is that everything they want is on the other side of being able to communicate. You can’t start a business without communicating, you can’t win a soul without communicating, you can’t share the deep things in your heart without communicating, you can’t make someone laugh without communicating.

Your destiny is on the other side of communication!

This whole month we are talking about finding your voice. Confidence in your voice is so critical to fulfilling your God-given destiny. Knowing that you have something to say will give life to your destiny. Developing your voice will give you great confidence and make you feel empowered to do everything in your heart. Taking action to communicate will be the catalyst for actually living in your destiny.

Find the Right Inspiration for your Destiny

The final aspect of destiny for this week is finding the right inspiration. What makes you push forward when things are tough? What makes your press forward when people don’t celebrate your communication journey? Who do you want to use your voice to impact? Does it really matter to you and the world around you if you don’t use your voice? These are questions you need to think through today. All of us need to have these answers deep in our heart so when the going gets tough we can stay in the fight.

I believe the right inspiration for fulfilling your destiny begins with your ability to make a difference in the lives of others.

If you are pursuing your destiny for you then you will give up and quit. If it is for others then you will press through and give the proper energy and focus to developing your ability.

Bottom line: Realize that to fulfill your destiny is going to take cooperation on your part and things are not going to simply happen because it is your destiny. Begin the pursuit of finding your individual voice so you can fulfill the destiny on your life by knowing how to communicate. Tap into the inspiration for your destiny by deciding to make a difference in the lives of others and not just to further your own self-interest.

I didn't come from a ministry background, but when I married my husband in 2010 with an Interior Design degree from LSU and no seminary training, he welcomed me into the ministry. In 2012, a prophetic couple told me that I had the anointing of Lydia, and God wanted to use it to funnel millions through the Kingdom by starting online courses and classes. At this time, I had NO dream or even thought of Let’s Echo, but I received the word from the Lord.

Today, I'm witnessing that prophetic word coming true. You are a prophetic word fulfilled and a dream come true!

The Preacher Girl Club empowers women to use their voice for Jesus through our online coaching community, practical courses, and leadership resources. Our members collaborate, speak at each other's events, write content together, and start ministries side by side.

If I can preach, so can you!
