Friendship Check: How Your Circle Shapes Your Life

Helpful Resources

You can only go as far as your closest relationships, so it’s time to check your circle! When it comes to speaking for God, the people you surround yourself with are crucial. You’ll never outrun or outperform those you’re closest to. We often hear that we’re the average of the five people we spend the most time with, but do we really believe it?

We tend to hold on to comfortable relationships, even if they keep us from becoming who we want to be. We sacrifice fulfillment for familiarity every day.

Christian Friendships - Friendship Check: How Your Circle Shapes Your Life

Christian Friendships Place Values Over Feelings

Instead of basing friendships on feelings, start with values. Are your closest friends committed to growth and purity before God? Do they push you to use your voice for God and celebrate your achievements? Evaluate your circle—are these the people who reflect where you want to go?

Christian Friendships Are Beehives of Action

Surround yourself with people who live a life of action—those who run with a vision and keep pushing forward. Being around these “runners” can propel you further than you ever thought possible. Don’t settle for going with the flow. Make your life a beehive of action!

The Bottom Line

This week, focus on your relationships. You don’t have to ditch old friendships, but be intentional about finding people who share your values, take action toward their dreams, and complement your strengths. Prioritize these relationships, and you’ll fast-track your destiny!

Look for other women of action and become a woman of action yourself.  Check your circle. Are you running with women of action? Do they keep God’s Word and their own?!

I didn't come from a ministry background, but when I married my husband in 2010 with an Interior Design degree from LSU and no seminary training, he welcomed me into the ministry. In 2012, a prophetic couple told me that I had the anointing of Lydia, and God wanted to use it to funnel millions through the Kingdom by starting online courses and classes. At this time, I had NO dream or even thought of Let’s Echo, but I received the word from the Lord.

Today, I'm witnessing that prophetic word coming true. You are a prophetic word fulfilled and a dream come true!

The Preacher Girl Club empowers women to use their voice for Jesus through our online coaching community, practical courses, and leadership resources. Our members collaborate, speak at each other's events, write content together, and start ministries side by side.

If I can preach, so can you!
